Belgomilk considers data privacy a fundamental component of business activity. Our privacy policy and practices focus on processing, sharing and storing personal data appropriately and lawfully, while ensuring confidentiality, integrity and availability.

Our website is managed in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (the “GDPR”), (Regulation (EU) 2016/679), which is a directly binding legislative act. GDPR creates some new rights for individuals and strengthens some of the rights that recently existed under Directive 95/46/EC. Directive 95/46/EC will be repealed with effect from 25 May 2018. This policy has complied with GDPR and is therefore also compliant with Directive 95/46/EC and its national implementations until they are repealed on May 25, 2018.
The privacy policy is under the responsibility of Belgomilk’s legal team, which has overall responsibility for the compliance. Belgomilk must be considered as the data protection controller and will determine the purposes and means of processing personal data submitted and collected online.

Belgomilk's data protection policy is based on the following data protection principles

Personal data
Personal data means any information that may relate to an identified or non-identifiable natural person (the “data subject”). Personal data includes all types of information that are directly or indirectly (that is, used in conjunction with other data) attributable to the data subject, such as names, date of birth, addresses, e-mail addresses, telephone numbers, etc.
Collection of personal data
Website users who wish to benefit from our services and submit information to us may be asked to provide personal data to enable Belgomilk to operate and improve our company and our services. We collect personal data such as names, e-mail addresses, telephone numbers to send notifications about events or articles posted on our website. This means that the initial procedure consists of collecting personal data to decide whether the request qualifies. We may also collect data about a candidate's home address when applying for a job. We further collect personal data for other purposes such as statistics, administration and communication, IT, certification and certification systems, support systems, internal program collaboration and organizational teams and activities.
